Whitetail bow season starts September 18th so a work detail was formed last weekend to get the camp ready. Shower shed Old wringer washer tub with shower curtain Solar shower 4 gallon water bag. Place out in sun or heat water on wood cookstove Privy - one holer Spring water for all washing and cooking needs Trout stream to catch supper or bath in if you don't mind turning cold blue. What is this "Deer Camp Hygiene" you speak of? Never heard of it.
Camp is where you make it.

I'd bath north of that sewage line. LOL.
Now that is a real camp! Thanks for the pics.

RO- Very cool. Looks like a nice, tidy camp. Love the "flammable gas" sign in the privy.

Skane - thanks... that privy can get pretty toxic. Fortunately I erected it downwind from the cabin. Some hunters and fisherman have decorated with other signs.

Nice work, I'm acually thinking about an outside shower stall project this fall too.
Something clever here.

Got tired of "spit" baths and loosing your testicles for a few hours after bathing in the trout stream in November.

Yes, nice pics, but what is this high jeans you're talking about?
Golldammed motion detector lights. A guy can’t even piss off his porch in peace any more.

Get some sections of 4" pvc pipe and put a hole to fit in the [bleep] wall near the bottom or, at least, below the "hole" level. You want the pipe to be in the waste area. Put a short length of the pipe through the hole and seal around it, Put an elbow in it and add pipe sectins to extend it up above the roof line. Also, put a lid over the hole. That will take care of most of your toxic fumes.

A shower at deer camp? Nice. I'm going to have to stick to the tub of unscented baby wipes.

I moved up this year too: FEMA Trailer $3k delivered, AC, and heat controlled by a nice thermostat. Hot water for shower and washing up. The well had not been used in my life time well, but after a new pump house, she pumps 2+gal/min. The john runs 10' to a 70gal septic tank and then a 10' leach line. Storage trailer

Am I the only one here that wears two pair of drawers to the deer camp so you have spare toilet paper????

vacrt2002, your setup offers some great creature comforts.
Just a heads up here... hope you did not get one of the FEMA toxic trailers with hazardous levels of formaldehyde, mold, etc.
Good hunting.
