Pardon my ignorance, but how does one go about building a Faux Ti? I don't have a clue where to start, other than I believe I start with an M700. Thanks in advance.

Yep, SUCKS action, MR contour tube, Ti take off (or new) stock, then you can have the shifter hollowed out and spiral flute the bolt.

My ignorance is relatively deep on the subject, but I just acquired a Ti take-off stock and stuck a regular Rem. 700 in it...about as Faux as you can get! Nary a hint of titanium anywhere! Ingwe

LSS Mtn rifle in caliber of choice + Ti take off + Kampfeld fluted bolt = Faux Ti. Or try and find a used Gander Mtn Guide rifle and just flute and your 99% there.

A take off stock from a Ti and yes you can purchase them also. They are a Bell & Carlson stock.

Ingwe The more I see that the more I like the straight black stocks over the ones with web. But I could go for both.
