'Crumpled'....kinda sounds better than DRT!
I like it, the mount looked like only one rear screw being shot fwd over receiver.
Nice rig. Do you know the taper, or Muzzle O.D.?
Thanks.

Josh, Nice rifle. As a guy who carries a rifle a lot more than I shoot it, that rifle would be a fine piece to hunt or guide with. Might not be as pretty as some other safe queens, but to me it looks like a fine working rifle. I'm just a simple man, but it certainly isn't "junk" in my eyes.

Don't hold back now Big stick, tell us how your really feel about it. Its not hard to see why your so popular. If you ever get up to Anchorage, feel free to stop by the shop and point out all its faults in person. Besides it would be nice to have an expert opinion.

Not being the expert that "BS" is, I'm sure I'm not qualified to comment, but.......... that is a super setup Josh. Not my preferred caliber, but the setup and weight is what I'm looking for. You've got to be enjoying that rifle.

I think BS likes something that slings ICBMs. If most of one's shots are inside 300 yds, I cannot see much this rifle cannot do on any game, big moose and bear inc. if the hunter threads a decent bullet thru vitals. At modest speeds, even cup/core slugs can do an admirable job IMO. Cartridge choice can vary whether one wants a Snipert rifle, (that's short for a Sniping Expert ) or if one understands they don't need...or want to shoot past common typical ranges.

That is a great* setup Josh! Really, what does the .338F give up to the .30 cal hunting rigs when used inside "average mans" hunting distances? I'm not a fan of the iron sights as far as looks are concerned but they sure would be nice to have when you get into the tag alders and other nasty [bleep] Moose/Bears enjoy running into to expire
If I were smart enough, which apparently I'm not
