Scenarshooter, how particular as to the condition of your steel? I want to come, but want to shoot my long range hunting rifle. It makes a mess out of some steel targets.

Some are AR500 and some are mild steel.....I'm good at welding holes shut.You can imagine what that .338LM does to mild steel.
I've got a bud from Wyoming who will bring his .375 Cheytac...

Waders ScenarShooter offered up a longer range with steel although not as centrally located to the original proposed contestants in this thread. On that note the new direction almost requires a new post to gauge interest.

In Centralia, WA? Keep up the good work. I could make it to Centralia. I am pretty sure I could not keep up with the real distance shooters but it would be fun to try. I ain't too old to learn a trick or two while having fun at the same time. Besides I can take a paint ball at a hundred, have done so many times with the old contender and a lot more times with the CZ. Would be fun to watch the faces is I broke an egg at 500 with the lowly K-hornet.

The original debate was for the two to shoot an egg (or groups) at 500.
Travel should be evenly split--having a shooting match near one shooter's home isn't a neutral site.
Makes no difference though. These two aren't going to get together anytime soon...

100% guarantee this is going to happen. It's private land, not open to the public, out of view from roads and we can get to it by vehicle no matter what the weather does. This is a state of the art facilty..

I recall it being a far looser arrangement Wade. That's why I suggested what I did. That will show who can make a rifle sing a song. You're right about it not happening though.
