Anybody ever wish they had one over the other on an actual hunt?

I mean on paper, they are the same thing, but sometimes the barrel is marked WCF when it could be marked Win. Only want to hear from you if you've ever been bothered by this on An Actual HUNT! Did it ever cost you a deer?

Assuming you hit vitals.

Thanks in advance.

Killed a mountain lion with my 270 wcf. Although it was a short enough distance that I'm not sure I would have been undergunned with the 270 win (about 25 feet).

Stuff has gone down the tube with the after season doldrums.

Never tried either, son has a 270WCF, seems to like it, at least if he does his job it puts meat in the freezer. Fine with me, I'm the reloader and it is not hard to reload for. LOL

I wasn't exactly sure.

Appears to be a 270 Win.

Awww, come on. Looks like a LOT of guns I have ssen over the years that were too busy being used to worry about the looks. That's a gun that simply kills stuff and then leans in a corner on the back porch waiting to kill again.
