I'm definitely a fan of McMillan Dark Camo. This one's a M40A1....1/2" decelerator and 2 cups/1 stud.......destined to be a 223 AI with CDI bottom metal and AI mag.......Jewell Trigger......Brux Varmint Contour barrel cut to 20"........blah, blah, blah. If you copy the link in the file "properties" into the browser, you'll see more detail.

50% black, 25% olive, 25% light gray. Though it's a heavy, it's a 7 mm. Mag. Model 70. It likes 160 gr. Accubonds and 168 gr. Sierra MatchKings the best.

That one's actually forest camo. Damn how you do that! I had a brainfart and shot the wrong stock. Here is the dark camo M40A1. That's a sure sign of having too much schitt on your plate! Sorry about that Steelhead, but thanks jwill for the heads-up. Same deal......Copy and past the link in pic "properties" to your browser for bigger pics.

I've got 2 forrest and a dark and have to say I prefer the dark. My 8Mag is riding in what amounts to a swirled dark but all the pics look like garbage and it all runs together and looks....welll.....dark. Looks nice with stainless or dark metal work.

Would like to see some lighter weight 7mm Remington Mag builds/specs.
Everyone is showing Scott stock colors.....but when is someone gonna give specs to build a light 7 mag?

Bob - I would hope he knows that ....
I kept thinking I would do one and bought that RI 7mag on a M70. Looks like it's a keeper since I'm the only one that wants it.... 6lbs 12 oz with mts.

Dober Mark, It's super accurate with Nosler Trophy Grade ammo, the 260 load with NPTs. The owner does not handload! MtnHtr

Need to send the stock and bottom metal to CDI so they can inlet it. McMillan didn't go deep enough. I've got a Brux varmint contour waiting as soon as I get around to doing the stock and sending it to the smith.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!
