DJ,
That picture with the Bobcat is a classic, what hunting with kids is all about. Brought a smile to my face this morning. Nice rifles everyone, anxiously awaiting my 7mm-08 project.

Sir,
when you made your post and enquiry, did you have any idea that you'd get this kind of response.

Some mighty fine rifles, pix and a lot of pride have been on exhibit here.
Best to all of ya'll

i rebarreled a remington .260 dbm mountain rifle with a 7-08 barrel, cut 2 inches off, and have an accurate wonderful light rifle now.

member kend, did the duracoat finish to make it purdy, and it's topped with a leupold 6x.
i really like it. it's first 2 kills.

Hi Tavis,

What's the color mix on the stock? Looks like a little gray with the yellow and black.

Just a 50/50 yellow and black. Steelhead's "bumblebee" mix.

I take no credit....

Here's a more better pic:

Was flipping through the classified ads the other day and was lusting after this.

Wife must have sensed the testosterone and came to take a peek over my shoulder to determine what had captivated my online interest. To my surprise, she says, "Oh that's nice, you never got a camo one - you should get it!" So, its en-route and soon will sport a simple M8 4x longtube. It's Brush Country Camo, Rem 7 syn, 3-hole chromoly. OT

Thanks thanks and thanks... Yep - she's a bit differ'nt. Just hoping I don't set it down and go wandering away!

Once had a full factory colored Rem 700 BDL Camo 7mm-08 but let it go ten years ago to pay rent, complete with a freaking painted Luepy on it for $400! Let the guy have a matching sling too! That, to date, was my favorite rifle I once had. This is to make up, for that... Hope it's a shooter. OT
