1967 Chevy Nova SS. 327/365 Close, but no such animal from the factory. My favorite for the street was the 1966 L79 Chevy II 327/350. We restored and sold the one 15 years ago and it was recently displayed in one of the casinos in Vegas. We saw it last year and there were several of the original parts that were missing. Too bad. It was a black on black air car with the numbers matching block. It scored a 971 at the Nova Nationals a couple of years before we sold it. I cannot believe it! I found the car on Mecum. Here is a right up and it mentions my dad in the article. This is way cool! 1966 L79

That's the transmission, not the tires.

Mine has to be a "73" Z28. Ordered it when I was a senior in HS. 350 4 speed and a vinyl roof so your beer didn't slide off when you stopped to piss. Best part, I still have it. 26000 original miles on it.

How about a clean 1964? This is my younger brother's Thunderbolt. 427, gobs of power, and his daily ride. That'll work! Total bad ass car. No factory car could touch it. Don't think one could now.

Either way, that is one of my favorite cars on the planet! A good friend of mine, John Calvert, races a clone Thunderbolt in Stock Eliminator. It is a great car! Edit to add they were street legal and a bear! lol!!!

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

My favorite is the 1966 L79 Chevy II 327/350.
Grumpy Bill Jenkins made the Chevy II's go fast.
In black or the metallic blue.

I love muscle cars.
My very first car was a 1970 Torino GT 351 cleveland and an auto trans.
We had a pile of cool cars as family cars when I was a kid. A 69 roadrunner, 383/auto. A 70 roadrunner, 440/4 speed.
A 69 super bee 383/auto...
We always had cool stuff, the 70's were awesome for me because I was just a kid growing up in awe of these fantastic machines.
I now have a 69 road runner of my own. 383/4 speed.
Something clever here.

Mine was a 64 Corvette convertable with a matching hard top. I replaced the stock motor with a small block 327 390hp engine built for the track and 4 speed tranny.
Speak softly and use a big bore... Where's El Cid when we need him...

Thanks. I had a Camaro that I traded on the Orange T/A in the black and white pic. This isn't a very good pic of it, but it's all I've got.

How about a clean 1964? This is my younger brother's Thunderbolt. 427, gobs of power, and his daily ride. I had one of these 64 Fairlane's in Arrest Me Red. Called it the Pseudo-Bolt. 289/271 High Performance engine. It was one mean stop light racer that you shifted when your ears itched! High 13's/low14's, as I recall.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

So many of 'em from the '67-'68 years.. One of the guys in Torpedo school had a '67 GTX 440... (drool).. 'Nother one had a '67 Vette 427 triple-carb 435 horse.. I still think the '68 Shelby Mustangs are about the hottest thing out there.. I MISS those years..

Back in the day, my mother came home with a brand new 69 Roadrunner 383/ auto in the bright orange with black hood panels and vinyl top. The 383 with the opening , long hood "scoops" Then the folks added a trailer hitch and towed a folding Skamper to Florida with it!
