cool Leupy VX-II or Vari-X II 3-9X40mm.

Could see picking the VX-III 2.5-8X or 3.5-10X40 (no A.O. nor 50mm lens) as alternative choices, if the 3-9X40 wasn't available.

Zeiss 2.5-10x42 Diavari with a #8 reticle, these scopes have never left me wanting for something better!

What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

VX-3 3.5-10X40 with the 6X42 a close second.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

I have two 3-9 Accupoints and another in 1-4. Trading in my Nikons and Leupies, moving towards these more and more.

Exactly! If I could only own one scope, and cost was not a concern, I would be looking at Swaro, Zeiss, Schmidt, etc. Leupold? You have got to be kidding me.

pacecars,

So far I would go with the Z5 5-25X52 Swarovski. It works for close or far. Big game or varmints. Its weight is barely over a pound so it is defiantely not a heavy weight.

Fixed...4X or 6X depending on my mood and the day of the week.

In a Variable....S&B Summit......why? Cause it's the only brand of variable that I have shot a decent amount with, and not personally broken yet.... smile
