Boy I am glad that BalTip didn't fail on that goat.
Are you coming up to town soon? Perhaps we can meet.

SU35,
I really like the Post and Duplex recticle, much more than the German #4 or the heavey duplex. I only have found the Post and Duplex offered in the new 6x36 FII.
Who installed the Post and Duplex in your 6x42?

GB,
I had Leupold do it for me at an extra cost.
And yes, I do like it very well, in a way its like looking over magnified iron sights. I would think it would be a great reticle for DG, for fast shots on running game it picks things up pretty quick. It also does very well at canyon shooting, which btw is a favorite past time of mine, makes for great pracitce. Nothing like shooting foot size rocks at 5 and 600 yards with heavy 338 bullets. They can smack em with a very cool sound. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Jeff, I had to pass this year on AZ elk. Next year I'll be in for sure. I think I might even have Spike talked into putting in as well.
Units 9 or 10 would be a clean sweep for cow elk.
btw, was in Prescott last Sunday for one day, visited the folks. I know where my heart is....
Good to hear from you.

Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

Easy there big fella, before you get all worked up. That is a Remington, you wouldn't want that model 70 to think you were lusting after another rifle. But it is good to see you recognize greatness. 338
