In your short time here, all I've seen from you is distain for Campfire members. You insult, belittle and ridicule at an alarming rate, so I have to wonder why you enjoy staying here ? If you think so little of the folks that inhabit this forum, why do you enjoy being here ?

There are quite a bit more than "8 or 10" that seem to have little if any respect for you. In fact, it seems like the vast majority are wishing you'd go take root with another forum more befitting of your vast experience.

I do my best not to have friends. I have perhaps 3 or 4. To those who have helped me restore my Remingtons with free or cheap parts I tip my hat. They do make the trolls easier to live with.

When you asked for help in getting a floorplate for one of your 700's, I pointed you to PT&G. I was ridiculed by some for even offering any help. I'm starting to wonder if I was wrong.

I did some more work on my .270 today. I aquired a non-J-loc firing pin assy. and a set of sights to replace those removed by some previous owner. The only thing I'd still like to do is replace the Leupold one piece base and rings with a Talley 2 piece low or extra low set.

Honestly I don't mind swampman 700. He gets a little defensive about bad Remington reviews that's all. I do have some bad news for him though, I'm most likely trading in my 700 youth for the Marlin xl7 in 270 win. Sorry swamp, I do still have 4 remingtons though.
