I was pulling for Vancouver because I have some friends up there. What they did after the game in the arena and outside is a disgrace.

If someone told me that Miami would lose the NBA championship in Miami, and Vancouver would loose the Stanley Cup in Vancouver, and only one of the cities would riot. I would not have picked Vancouver.
Shows real class to be out classed by Miami....

The most disappointing thing is the deafening boos when the cup presentation was underway.
Nashville was penalized as classless when Modano hit his 500th goal or something and tootoo leveled him in a legal hit. Booing a team that took the best team in the league to 7 games and whooped em fair and square is even more classless

I think they were booing Bettman. They gave Thomas a well deserved ovation, which I thought was classy.

Yes, they were booing Bettman and they also booed Chara but I don't think he cared much.
I'm not in the least bit surprised by the rioting in Vancouver, i've been reading blogs and Canuck fan websites for the last 2 weeks and the majority of them are arrogant, self centered bastids. I would wish a SC championship for Montreal before I would Vancouver, and as an avid Boston fan, one just doesnt root for the Canadiens.

Absolutely no violence after Saints won Super Bowl, BTW.

After the Bruins won and just before the crowd were chanting I think "go back home". The boo's during the Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup presentation were classless IMO. I don't even recall anything close to that from the fans during the heated Avalanche and Red Wing rivalries in the past.
