I resound the same praises to you polarisjeff. Thanks to you and the many like you that have donned the equipment to represent our bid for freedom at home and abroad.

I read where one of the longest range, confirmed combat kills over in the sandbox was by a Canadian Sniper using a big .50 cal. Quite a feat.

Yep, but he was edged by a Brit who added 180 feet more range. Still, though, 2,430 metres is a long shot in anybody's books.

Yeah, but can those "critters" shoot back? Rob made a long kill shot on an enemy combatant at a very long range and at an insane angle in very crappy conditions. Could you do that?

nope. Plain and simple answer.
Thanks Jeff. Appreciate your sacrifice and dedication to your brothers in arms, and to the rest of the veterans who have done the same over the years. Randy

You'd have to ask the various posters. I'm quite sure that they would have something to say.
You can come visit me at Borden if you're in the area.

Thanx for the invite. I haven't been to Boredom since 2003. That is one base I like, Sans Mosquitoes on the golf course. But the Rod and Gun feels like home

I pride myself in being a pretty fair rifle shot, but Furlong on his worst day is so far above me on my best day, I'd need binoculars to see the soles of his feet. Period. End of message.
