I was waiting for my Bob to get back from the smith when this thread surfaced. I received the rifle on friday, so I'll bring this thread back to the top. It is simply a restocked Remington 722. Some specifics:

Front sight replaced with a redfield hooded sight, for looks, of course.
Neidner-style buttplate and grip cap from Brownells.
Griffin-Howe hinged floorplate and trigger guard (courtesy of Ebay).
Ebony foreend tip, which happened to be a little marbled instead of solid black.
Scoped with a Leupold Alaskan 6x.
