I've been in 47 of them. Probably: (1) Lexington, KY (2) Columbus, OH (3) Indianapolis, IN or Nashville, TN. There are a lot that I might consider for a year or two IF they paid me at least $1 million per year. Even less if I didn't actually have to do "normal" things like drive back & forth to work every day.

I have lived in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, and St. Louis. In my opinion here are some things to be said for big city living. Stupid, terrible, and awful are three that come to mind.

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

This question is kinda like asking which leg would you rather have broke. Spare me from living in any of those pestilential places.

I've lived in a few of those cities, and there isn't one I'd want to live in again. There isn't even one on the list that I'd want to live in. Abou the only cities I would move to are: 1 St. Augustine, Fl. 2 W.P. Beach, Fl. 3 Charleston, SC There are much better choices on that list than West Palm Beach. And that's from someone who is from WPB. Yep, grew up near West Palm in Jupiter and Lake Park and I agree. GK

I'm pretty happy here in San Diego (#8), but there are tradeoffs.

My son lives in a small town about 35mi out of Wichita. My niece lives in a small town about 15mi out of KC. Seems like they have the best of both worlds. Small town govt/schools and big city conveniences like shopping/entertainment.
I do like KC. It has some character.
There are some nice little towns near Springfield, MO.

I've lived all over the US and have been to most of the cities on the list. If I had to pick one city, Nashville would be my pick. If you like to whitetail deer hunt, you can shoot up to 3 bucks per year and 3 does per day in the surrounding counties. There are lakes and rivers close by for a wide variety of fishing.

The only one on the list that I wouldn't even go out of my way not to drive thru would be San Antonio.

I'm pretty partial to OKC and Tulsa. I also like Colorado Springs.

I'm already there, it ain't on the list, but Bozeman, MT is still my choice. It isn't what it used to be, but it beats that list hollow, besides that, from Bozeman, you are only 25 minutes from Montana...
