We were TRYING to watch a video by Larry Bartlett("Float Hunting Alaska") and it's the biggest damned joke any of us have seen.

Consensus was to videotape sighting in Dave's Whizzum, upon said DVD at 250yds.

Everyone bailed,before it was over.........................

The King Salmon got away, but the halibut is still intact.

I'm going out today to fill the boat up with herring. I'm armed with a castnet and a few herring set-ups on fishing poles.

Try not to destroy the steelhead fishery in one day.

We Pow-Wow'd this morning on the phone and sorta admitted to ourselve's that the water is simply too low. With the Bait Opener and being Saturday to boot,it prolly wasn't a poor move to bow out.

When you going Herring catching?........................

probibly around tenish. The tide will be flooding then and their will be enough water to launch the boat.

yesterday i went to the ramp at 8, and it was out of the water. Minus tides, but it floods very fast.

Talked to a couple of pounders, and they say the herring are in. Also ran into a gent at the boat ramp who had a cooler full of herring he jigged.

I've always had a blast with the cast net, and the herring makes such good skate/crab bait.

Forgot about the tides,Momma went to work early(yesterday),to beachcomb.

The Pimp called me on the Bat Phone and says his Halibut is in your hands. Might wanna get it to him,so his Wife can get it breaded for the pending feast.

Sister will be unhappy,if there is Halibut Technical Difficulties.(grin)

She'd eat it every meal, every day...................

Do tell Stick that is said to be BIG.

Anyone who can claim that a movie sucks without finishing it is one intellectual MOFO.

Let me guess....not enough killing for you and the bruits? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Or does my hat intimidate your inferior masculinity? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I can tell when a movie sucks,by it's content, film work and players. Especially easy to do so,when something that is vaunted to be "informative" and in which the subject matter happens to ring a familiar bell.

Now... perhaps unlike some, when it's 5 degrees ambient, I don't gotta jump in the water until I'm blue, to ascertain a relative comfort rating geared to those specific conditions.

Along similar lines, I don't need to be glued to my TV for a 114 minute onslaught, to my very good senses, to derive a two-thumbs down rating to the phoniest flick to ever escape the editing room.

"Bruits" is pelled b.r.u.t.e.s and it's glaringly painful ineptidue of that Kindergarten magnitude, that made the DVD a sham of the first degree.

As to the hat, it did make your tits look bigger, but mebbe that was the production value sought?!!?

It was embarrassing on many levels, to suffer through the time I did and the only glimmer of hope I can get out of it, is you're a DSMFer playing Alaskan.................

Speaking of flavors of stuff, I've found Captain Morgan's private stock to make a darn fine buttered rum. I had the crud the past week and darn if a buttered rum don't make one feel all better. Mixes well with hot coco as well.

To the movie review, an analogy would be in order. One need not eat a whole serving of chit to figure out it smelled and tasted bad.
