I'm just sorry my tummy sticks comment didn't rate a response, as the term came from my favorite movie at the moment.
Stick gets all the fun.....

Hell...he mighta been in the back of the raft?!!?
Beautiful blue skies here today. The kids and Big Momma are still racked out,so I'm the Easter Bunny. Will do the egg hiding thing, watch the fiasco and ease into the afternoon.
Water is stupid low,at both Hidey Holes. Nearest Hidey Hole rated pretty good action, but a guy had to get creative. Bill would have nightmares.(grin)
Hidey Hole two,had some Fly Swatter in there, wading out through the fish and all was blown out. I waited for him to leave and tried to make it work, until dark but could do no good. Tried to wade off the point, down by the Downtown Drift and fell through a false bottom while wading.
It felt boggy while walking and I punched through and gave thought to panic. Threw my rod to safety and swam/crawled outta the ordeal, was much concerned about my camera, which was in my backpack. All was well, excepting my pride. Mebbe the only day of my life,in which I didn't have a change of clothes in the rig. Had to wring out my panties, for the ride home,it was special. Was hauling ass home and was afeared a Trooper was gonna stop me and then tell all the others that I've a penchant for driving butt nekked.(grin)
Best tidbit of the day,was the follow up on a hole the two OldTimers mentioned to Bill and I the other day. It's the best drift I've seen and holds lotsa fish. It's what I now call the 20 Pounder Hole.
It's riddled with hangups,so Bill is gonna wanna drive his Flippin' stick and some fairly heavy line. I had the 10'6" baby Fenwick in there yesterday and got my ass handed to me,but man was it fun. Was going 30lb braid directly to a #3 Vibrax and was still getting used.(grin) I'll be driving my 8' 1pc Meat Stick Loomis and running 20lb snells,on my next trip.
When you boys get back down, you'll rate the tour and it oughtta be HOT...................

6 below here today, around -25 wind chill...not too bad, but that's about the best I can say of it...<grin>
Might have to hit Cabelas today and order up a dedicated Flippin' stick, similar to your 8-footer.
Sorry to hear Hidey Hole #2 had an occupant, I haven't been there yet when anyone else was.
On the good side, I heard through the grapevine that the squarehead FS cop I didn't get along with is now stationed in the deep south, Lower 48, so I was pleased to hear it.
Can't wait to get home, everything should be ON....and we need to get a plan, depending on your schedule....

Now we're getting somewhere, Larry (aka, Big Stick). I respect your honesty a great deal and would like to appreciate your comments as a professional critique.
Where I was trained, anyone who has the intelligence to identify a negative must also exhibit the courage and aptitude to generate a positive solution to avoid the stigma of being all talk and no action. The world is filled with people that fit the latter category, but it requires more substance in a man to actually matter. This way, even if our efforts result in failure, we tried to matter. Otherwise, we don't!
Thanks for holding back how you really feel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
All defensive positions aside, where might I find your portfolio of professional works? I'm impressed by your candor and would like to appreciate your influences and accomplishments.
Lastly, if you paid for the video we will gladly send you a refund if you'd return it to us. I'll even pick up the cost of return postage.
The address is Pristine Ventures, Inc. PO Box 83909 Fairbanks, AK 99708.
Thanks for the back and forth, Big.

I'm planning on doing my part. Just need to figure out how many bottles of Crown and Makers to bring. Whatever I decide, I'll double it, and hopefully not run out.

Though as an aside,"bruit" do remain a verb, despite you're not using it in context. Lemme guess?!!? You've an English Tutorial awaiting video release?
Ok, I guess I'm gonna have to look it up now.
Definition of Bruit
Bruit: A sound, especially an abnormal one. A bruit may be heard over an artery or vascular channel, reflecting turbulence of flow. Listening for a bruit in the neck is a simple, safe, and inexpensive way to screen for stenosis (narrowing) of the carotid artery.
What the f...? Ya, he meant brutes...First thing you do when you find yourself in a hole is to quit diggin.

MMarketello ya beat me too it, that azz clown needs to figure out the english language before he tries to get one over on the paradise boys.
Bruit is indeed a medical term as you described, most commonly heard in the carotid artery as you said, the other common occurence or bruit is the blood running through a dialysis fistula. that said bruit's almost always come with what is called 'thrill" or a slightly vibrating feeling on the surface fo the skin relative to the aforementioned bruit.
Not really sure how any of that applies to Big Stick or his clan but hey the big bad rafting guy said so............
BTW Stick, i nailed a 24lb springer this am, and didnt even have to wear a coat to do it. i got a pic for you but cam took a fateful swim on the next fish and died, will try to get a pic for you off buddies cam

I can converse in "proper" English,if/when forced.
Though I do like to put a mild butcher job upon it in text,so as to put a burr in those with stiff upper lips. I retain the right,to crack me up.
Good job on the Springer. Pictures is always a good thing. Coffee is brewing and I'm gonna head out and try to roll some Steelhead this morning,in the sopping hurricane that is currently doing it's thing.
Hard to get a leg up on this bunch,am thinkin' some may play 'possum and not put all their cards on the table.(grin)
Far easier to bullshitt the fans, than it is the players.........................
