Finally got back to Paradise tonight.... was an interesting day. Snow, sun, hail, rain. We even got hit by lightning as we were taking off. Was an interesting ride.... Anyways, took a cruise out to the house to see the progress. They are done painting and started on the cedar ceilings. I think its gonna turn out.....

appears to me you boys is doing good Dave, really cool that you have posted pics to keep us apprised of your progress.

Sadly I have to reckon neither you or Bill will live long enough to really enjoy the place though.

Word is, you both hunt with empty tubes, just a matter of time before you're bear scat and some locked and loaded guy buys the place for pennies on the dollar. (sigh) (masked by a grin)

Looks to be a really cool place Dave.

The Cedar ceilings sprung to life, after the finish was applied and I think you'll be favorably impressed(Momma wants it in here, now).

The cabinetry turned out very nice too and the ball is rolling.

Your last images are just now loading on my 'puter and are certainly from last night, but they don't do the Cedar justice. You gotta see it,to fully appreciate it.

I really like the lighting fixtures and the fart fan in the ceiling. The MuskOx needs to go where the scaffold is,by the 6 bulb light fixture and you guys need a Wolf peering down at floor level,on the opposite side.

All very well done,IMHO and it's gonna take some doing to fill it full of dead [bleep]..........................

No one lives forever....heh. I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere, but would rather be bear [bleep], than kill a pard with a negligent discharge, if those were the two options...

I dig this pic too.....

I was thinking a buck and a doe, on the long ledge, feeding...and a wolf in mid-spring, about to leap the gap....?

I wanted to stick the musk ox up there, but am afraid the view won't do the mount justice, as the base is done up pretty fancy.....

Billy and I talked about it last night(the MuskOx),my arguement was that no matter where you put it,it's still the same. A big old hairy thing with horns and that's easy to detect from any angle.

Figured if it was up there, noone would spill a drink on him...........................(grin)

Dave,

I agree with what 'Stick said....going to take some doing to fill it with dead schitt.

I am sure you are up to the challenge ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I like the view in back of Brother Bill....is that off of the kitchen?

Do you have a pic of the musk ox mount?
