The Pacific Northwest has some nice places to see, but everytime I've been there it's been raining. My favorite places,...Big Sur California,...the Outer Banks of North Carolina,...Florida Keys,..Northwestern Montana. The Bluegrass region of Kentucky is the place I'll always come back to, however.

My excursion into Maine was a bit of a streach as I drove across the border until I found a place to turn around; got out and steped on the ground so I can say I have been there. Got back in the truck and drove out of there. Nothing against Maine, just had no other reason to go there. Thought it a shame to get that close and not step on it.
