You'd dig all three; ME, NH, and VT. All very different, but worth visiting.

Exactly. If I coulsn't live in MT, VT would be near the top of my list for a second choice.

The hunting in VT truly sucks.

Yeah I know... but my dad lives nearby in Maine and the hunting there is good. I could happily live in Maine...

Never saw the research, but I suspect that Vermont has a higher percentage of it's residents that move to Montana than almost any other state.

Fred, it's a Northern Tier thing... From New England, I'd agree likely VT is at the top of "lateral movers"... however, I'd agree with Loco... MI, WI and MN are tops IMO.

Not sure what HA is... maybe HI?

I'll tell you you're absolutely missing something not seeing California... visiting and living are two different things.

46. I haven't been to Hawaii, South Dakota, Delaware or New Jersey. The majority of those I visited while driving trucks over the road. Also drove through Quebec and Ontario, and flew in and out of Newfoundland.

Only six for me outside of my home state. I live in Alabama, and have been in Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, and North Carolina. Kentucky and North Carolina were very brief visits, only a few miles inside their borders.

48 of them, plus I live in a state of confusion most of the time so that comes to 49. I used to be a truck driver so I have been in all the lower 48.
