I laid hands on one today at a Gun Show and almost bought it for $439. I just got a Kahr CW9 so it didn't make much sense. It seems like a nice little pistol. What's the difference between the CW9 and the P9? CW9 has conventional rifling. The front sight is staked-in plastic, and it comes with only one mag.
Lunatic fringe....we all know you're out there.

Hardly seems worth having a whole additional model designation for those differences. They should have called it the P-9 Economy Model.

The shield is going to sell like gangbusters. It's almost the perfect recipe for a great concealed gun. Glock fans (myself included) have been begging glock to make the single stack 9 for years now. They sure missed the boat on this one. By the time they get in the game, most of us will already be happy with our shields. you hit the nail on the head!!!!

Diamondback? I have the DB9 0n me now. I've had it since mid Feb. Shot ? 200-300 through it. No malfuntions It holds 10" at 25 feet. My only modification? Sanding the inside of the trigger gaurd smooth. But I do that with every poly pistol.
It hides on my person no matter what I am wearing.
S & W Shield? No haven't seen one yet..

Did you say it holds 10" @ 25 feet?

Did you say it holds 10" @ 25 feet? He forgot to mention that he balances on a floating log when he shoots.
