Mostly use an old tang safety Ruger in 7mm rem mag wearing brand new leupold vx-III 2.5x8-36 glass
Partition bullets 175s probably, accurately pushed by some retumbo powder at 2950 fps for elk across distant mountain sides or in the tag alder jungles and thick timber stands.

How do you like the Storm's? I am looking into new arrows, those and ICS Bowhunter's are near the top of my list.

2950! Has that load been across a chronograph? Mine does a little faster than that with 175s and Reloder 25

Now you're talking!
Any chance you've ever ran the 180 NBT thru it? I'd sure love to run those in a lil 33.

I have shot lots of NBTs. Have a few hundred as my plinking load. They run in the mid 2700s, but I have not got the consistent accuracy out of them that I do out of the 185 or 160 TTSXs. Not bad mind you, just not quite as good. I do intend to use them as my deer load next year though.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
