Neighborhood fireworks show tonight with several campfires in different yards. Tomorrow, I'm probably going to take the kids to the pool since it's supposed to be the hottest day of the week...yesterday was 99* Camp is where you make it.

Then a little parade at the south end of the lake with all the neighbors. then doing the lake thing all afternoon followed by a boat parade. then off to watch fireworks across the lake followed by falling exhausted into bed. Lotsa lake activities in this heat. What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

I don't expect the daytime walleye fishing to be that great, but I think the bass and gills will jump in the boat. If the weather is hot, hot, hot, I expect a lot of time around the pool. I do have a musky fishing day trip planned over to Spider Lake. Camp is where you make it.
