Pre-64 Win M69 barn gun. Can I make one more comment?...........Okay, thanks Been thinkin about this rifle of Grandpa's. I still remember if I wanted to shoot a snake in the head, from behind and ABOVE,.... I had to shoot at his left shoulder. Really, actually had to hold LOW, LEFT to hit spot. I killed several snakes that way, from bridges. Jerry

Well Shrapnel -- How about an UPDATE ? What have you done with MY rifle? I still REGRET..... Glad You got it. Jerry I got it for a friend of mine. Talked to him just yesterday, said it was a one holer. I also got a Swarovski 2.2-9 scope for him, he will be putting that on the rifle and putting the Zeiss on another gun he has...

The Gravellies are represented, among others. Won't get as much 'chucking in this summer as I'd like, since I have to figure out how to kill a billy goat.

Well, well, I finally WILL have some fence posts. Actually there are fence posts in the pic. My 'Great Grandfather' and bros and community 'helper's' built this barn in 1900. Originally, it had a lower loft, hallway, and 4 small feed/milk rooms. I kept the doors. @ 2000 I tore off, with the help of 1 friend, the lower part of the barn.....AGE, sun,& wind had been eating on it for 100 yrs. That tin has been on the barn since the 50s,***as far as I know***, that was put on it in 1900. Can't prove it, but none of my aunts or uncles remembers the tin being replaced. However this appearance is how it was originally built and then the lower part was added in the 30s. My ancestors homesteaded a whole Section in 1880.
