I'll have to disconnect the PC Tuesday PM so I'll be off-line for 4/5 days. We can't move the furniture back in for at least 2 days after they've put the final finish coats on. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Except for bears. Bears kill you.

Missy, Scott, Dusty, Eileen and Kenna were at camp by Friday evening. We already had quite a collection of toys in the yard... Then Tom and Jack showed up on Saturday. After Tom and Jack showed up we saw a lot of this: Saturday was also a big work day. We had a crew putting together a new set of bunk beds inside the cabin: Me and Kenna were outside working on soffit and fascia. We're thinking it must have been a kill that was drug into the area by another animal because it really makes no sense for a beaver to be in that area on purpose. With a lot of projects complete or near completion we put a chicken on the grill and took off from the cabin on a big trail ride. Something clever here.

Did you complete the soffit and fascia?That's a time consuming job. Stan in SC The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa. 45/70,it's almost a religion. If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

Another content bystander that threw the chain off his little dirt bike about 30 times on that ride. A goofball on too small of a bike. And with the help of my amigos, we got it finished. Pretty good weekend. It was great to see everybody, a big thanks from me, Pam and the kids for all the great company that traveled up to see us. Lauren and I went goose hunting for the first time and even though the geese hadnt been using our field, we got one flock to kinda come in and I shot the first goose of the season. The ice is broken boys, let the good times commence! What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

We took our wheelers to the carwash when we got home. Mine didn't need it so much, but his was a different story. Those are really great pictures. Can't wait to get back up there again. I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

That muck was weird. I love it there too and I'm always grateful when I get to come up. I plan on heading back up again before deer season starts. I'll try to remember to dump the pics I have from the work on the shooting lanes. Nate earned his keep for sure! Camp is where you make it.
