Best buck for the area where he was killed (buck of a lifetime for a free range Central Texas whitetail) - and special since he came off the place where I was raised... Best overall, and special because my Dad was with me when I killed him... Maybe my favorite deer of any kind - free range axis - he showed up out of nowhere and my boys and I pulled off a spot and stalk on him on a dove hunt that quickly turned into something much better...always keep a rifle with quality bullets in the truck - never know what might show up! DJ
