I think she does sell them to the public when OEM or military orders slow down and allow excess production.

I know I said I didn't mind a wait but I had to eat those words.
I kept in touch with them throughout the process and Mike always let me know what was going on. On one of the last calls I made he told me that the 6mm 5R barrels had them baffled. They weren't up to snuff and he didn't know why. After waiting a few more weeks with no signs of getting my barrel I canceled the order.
There's more to the story but I will just say that Mike Rock was very nice and sincere throughout the whole process. I really hated that it didn't work out because I really wanted a Rock 6mm 5R tube for my project. Chit happens I guess. I wonder if I should order my 6mm else where?
