I'm dead serious, he's getting one heck of a deal. That Tanner, he knows his stuff.

we're talking 140's right...?
how long a barrel, I might of missed that part?
Dober Mark, using the same charge with IMR 4350 and 140s, I get 2750 fps out of a standard Ruger factory 22 inch barrel... moly'ed bullets and a little more barrel.. plus Hodgdon vs IMR 4350.. I could see another 100 fps...especially with bullet seating... I know with each factory 260 I had, the first thing I did was have each one throated out to handle magazine length 142 Sierras and 160 grain Hornady RNs... that allows shorter bullets to be seated further out...and gave me an increase in velocity..... ( I know you personally know all of that stuff... just putting it in for those that may not, and heading off any questions from the naythsayers)

2906 w/ H4350. Warm load, but shoots very well. Best accuracy with 140s is in the 2730 range in my rifle.
John John, what are you running for a barrel length and how much of what to get 2906 with the 130's? My Zebra rifle has a 22" tube and 130's run 2800 and the 140's are stuck @ 2650. I burn H4350 with the 130's and H4831 with the 140 Bergs. In my rifle the 140's shoot incredibly well when seated to fit the box. The 130 Bergs shoot well when close to the lands but not when fitting the box. Thx Dober Jeez, Dober, an even number on the barrel length... how do you sleep at night?
This is a shooting forum, there is no place here for logic.

My current 7mm Remington Mag is plenty light enough, I would take the 1500 and go buy a couple of tags and go hunting, and elk or two would be nice.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
