It's only gonna be about 65 and sunny tomorrow . This Grizzly man is funny...the dude reminds me of my brother in law that used to be on meth... Bart

Wacko was one missed med away from smearing himself in his own feces. And the PETA types and bleeding heart liberals will just eat all this up because they don't have a clue.

Show just on, watched it at the R&G Club. Good golly, this guy is talking with his back to the bears and they're walking up on him. I'm having chest pains and I'm watching it on tv. He goes into the water with the bear, and tries to touch it from behind. It whips it's head around, and I'm like: dead! I was fishing in the Dead river in Maine and saw a bear. Water got a little bit warmer. Bear's scratching his back on a tree and he walks over to Timmy and turns and walks by. I'm thinking: dead! I can't believe the first people he showed his films to didn't try to lock him up. After I shoot a deer, and walk up to it, until I give em the poke in the eyeball, the hearts beating and the gun's loaded. One was playing possum on me and tried to pick up his head, I'm guessing he had sinister intent! A knee jerk reaction with a .300 Win mag and I had to go looking for his antlers. I would never walk up on a bear unless I was about to unleash the fury on it. And then it would only be to safe shooting distance.

No cable over here, so I guess I'll just have to live the experience vicariously eh In the case of this movie, maybe it should've ended with a medley of those horrible sounds reported on Tim and his girlfriends' last recording.
Anyways, "Grizzly Man" has been done, several of us here have been "Cute and Fuzzy Dog Man" (or woMan) for some time.
Pursuant to another thread here, there seems to still be an opening for a "Mountain Lion Man", (a box of Meow Mix oughta get ya started). Then of course, no one has yet been "Armadillo Man", "Feral Hog Man", "Striped Skunk Man" or "Star-nosed Mole Man"....
I dunno where I'm going with this...

Anybody catch the show on Discovery right before Grizzly Man?
Just as bad, but an African tale. The guy was just as loony as Treadwell, but he was doing the same thing with lions.
Treadwell; California; I wonder why he never swam with the white shark.

A whole bunch of weirdness going on there. The coroner gave me the creeps, as though he was getting off on it all.
All in all it did show some balance in that what he was doing came under some criticism. The guy was obviously conflicted as to his identity and had serious social problems. More of a case study of a nut than a nature film.

I don't feel one iota of sympathy for either him or his girlfriend. Too bad bears had to die. Why would anybody waste sympathy on idiots who swim with sharks and get ate during a feeding frenzy?????

Did Treadwell have enough brains even to pack pepper spray?
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.

CFO, not sure if Charlie Russel is Andy's son or not, but he has written a book called "Grizzly heart" or something like it. Him and his wife raised 2 brown bear cubs on the Russian peninsula across from Alaska. Anyway he doesn't talk as crazy as Treadwell, but he's still over the edge.
