I do believe there should be some restrictions on certain rifles. Why not just allow people to carry anti aircraft weapons around? Do you really need an assault type rifle to hunt? I have a 30-06 and 1187. Holds 5 shells but in DE you need to plug to 3. I am fine with that. I don't need 20 shot clips to obliterate a deer.

Here's a little lesson for you, d!ckhead:

1. Assault Weapons are currently illegal to own unless you hold a class III Federal Firearms license, which based upon your repeatedly displayed ignorance, you don't possess.
2. The Constitution doesn't protect hunting.
3. The Constitution affirms the unalienable right to BEAR arms - it does not guarantee the right for you to wear your wife beater t-shirt for your BARE arms.
4. The semi-automatic sporting rifle is the most popular rifle for predator/varmint hunting. But that fact is irrelevant because of lesson #2 above.
5. Most states have a magazine limit for hunting, but do not have mag limits for sporting and personal defense weapons. (except maybe the slave states like the one you live in).
6. Lastly, nobody on this forum gives a flying [bleep] how many shots you need to obliterate a deer. However, they care very much about how many rounds they can pour into a few criminals before they take a dirt nap.
7. Every free man "NEEDS" whatever weapon he chooses for the job at hand, whether that is blowing away a perp who just broke in the back door, blowing up tin cans in the forest, or blowing away jack-booted thugs who are coming to confiscate these guns he doesn't need - just like General Gage did.

Any questions?

Since you admit to being a troll, I'm not sure if you are now trolling or if you just don't get it. Beina as you are from Biden-ville, I'm going to go with you being clueless.

Buh-bye.

It appears that ESOS took down their online ticket site, then later put it back up yesterday.

Since they're not telling ticket buyers or even exhibitors, that over 300 exhibitors have pulled out, one might think a fraudulent practices law suit is in ESOS' future?

This just posted on the ESOS website. For anyone interested

Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show - Update - January 24, 2013Reed Exhibitions has decided to postpone, for now, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show given the controversy surrounding its decision to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles (also called ARs) at the event. The show was scheduled to take place February 2-10 in Harrisburg, PA.

Our original decision not to include certain products in the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show this year was made in order to preserve the events historical focus on the hunting and fishing traditions enjoyed by American families, said Chet Burchett, Reed Exhibitions President for the Americas. In the current climate, we felt that the presence of MSRs would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests. This was intended simply as a product decision, of the type event organizers need to make every day.

It has become very clear to us after speaking with our customers that the event could not be held because the atmosphere of this years show would not be conducive to an event that is designed to provide family enjoyment. It is unfortunate that in the current emotionally charged atmosphere this celebratory event has become overshadowed by a decision that directly affected a small percentage of more than 1,000 exhibits showcasing products and services for those interested in hunting and fishing.

ESS has long been proud to participate in the preservation and promotion of hunting and fishing traditions, and we hope that as the national debate clarifies, we will have an opportunity to consider rescheduling the event when the time is right to focus on the themes it celebrates.

Looks like they cancelled the whole thing.

Reap it!

EVERYBODY is pro-gun, some just don't know it. When an anti-gun person is in trouble, the first thing they do is call 911 and demand that they send somebody with a gun!

The "postponement"/cancellation sends a big message to those who contemplate how they can infringe on the 2nd Amendment. I'm glad the big players united to oppose the leftists.
