I've owned two different 2" Model 15's. Both of them shot like rifles. One was nickel and the other blue. Somehow I let myself get talked out of both of them.
I try to drink less these days. You need to go check out that 4" Model 15 at Evan's Archery in Lexington. It's a pin barrel model,...got that old timey blue on it that's as shiny as a new dime. $400 is what they askin',....but I bet if you played that State Cop angle, you could get 'em to knock 50 bucks off the price. It's got Pachmahrs on it now,...but K-frame grips are easy enough to come by. In fact, I'd stick some Ahrends on it, anyway. If you don't go get it,..I probably will,...and if I dump $400 on another S&W,...I'm liable not to get any more nookie until I don't even care. I've never been to their shop, but I've seen some of their advertisements on GB. I try to keep from going to Lexington as much as I can.

My new favorite modern gun. I didn't even know these existed as I don't pay much attention to new guns. When I saw this one in the store, I just pulled out the money and bought it. 7 shots, compasct and powerful, my Python is for sale due to this nice piece...

... I really like this revolver. Partly sentimental reasons. Back in 1982-1983 I carried one (38 Special) while serving as a Marine Security Guard at the U.S. Embassy in Brazzaville, Congo. The Ruger Service Six was State Department inventory.

My favorite all-around revolver... Second favorite... Some days, the ranking is reversed.

My S&W M15 is probably my favorite handgun. Very accurate and easy to shoot. I love not having to chase brass.

Ahhh, I like these revolver threads. I'm no collector but I'll share what I like to shoot. My 44mag Anaconda, this is my favorite. It just fits my hand and seems to shoot well. My .22 Diamondback, I have the original wood grips but they are too darn small. This one is fun, there is noise but no recoil. And my Ruger Redhawk in 44mag. This is the newest addition, still getting on to it. Again, I had to change the grips to something that fits a little better.

It is a 9mm. I think the model number was 547 or something like that. I'm only in my first cup of coffee this morning.
Nice looking shooter, and it is set up to shoot without having to use Moon clips.

Bingo, that was quick. It is a 547 one of only 6486 3" RB produced.Correct moon clips not required. And RTR to you!

You know, for the sake of SHTF guns, that is a wise choice. Likely there would be quite a bit of 9mm lying around, and you never have to worry about magazines going bad.
Cool shooter!

Cool shooter! Yep, and in the best pattern S&W offered the K-Frame for a concealed sidearm.

This one's been on my belt almost daily for the past 30 years or so. My favorite pistol, and one I'll never part with.
Luck....is the residue of design...
