As a gift to my daughter, I took her to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo last night. For those that aren't familiar with it, it's the largest rodeo in the world and a pretty big deal. Every night there is a concert after the rodeo...last night was Lady Antebellum, one of my daughter's favorites. After three hours of wandering around the exhibitors booths, livestock, pig races, birthing pens, eating chocolate dipped bacon and fryed Snickers we were ready to sit down. When they opened the gates to Reliant Stadium we headed to the "nosebleed" section, on the 6th floor, which were the only tickets I could get for the sold out event. As soon as we sat down, we were approached by a group of people, including a cameraman. They explained that every night 10 people are selected for a "Randon Act of Kindness", sponsered by various corporations, in this case, Caterpillar Inc. They escorted use to floor level, right behind the chutes, where we were given VIP seating and access. Thanks Caterpillar! How COOL is that?
