While I've had Montanas in 308 and 7-08 go thru here they never seem to hang around long. Here's one I have currently....no plans for it,,..maybe I'll shoot it in the spring if spring ever comes. NIB 338 Federal

Actually it's my 9yo boy's rifle but Dad will use it too! This is a very nice heavy barrel KoO M84. This is no lightweight like my 6x47 KoO M84. 24" heavy contour barrel with a sweet trigger pull which measures in ounces. It must be a Custom Classic model as it has inletted sling swivels, nice wood and a perfectly fitted Neidner buttplate. I like it a whole lot and can't wait until my boy gets to shoot a deer with it. The 45gr. TSX and the 40gr Cutting Edge Bullets FBHP projectiles will do the deed with aplomb. Probably scoping it with a 3-9x40 VX-2 or a 2.5-8x36 VX-3 in original KoO rings.

I kind of hope I never run across one of these on a shelf anywhere as I'm guessing the CC won't like it at all.

I kind of hope I never run across one of these on a shelf anywhere as I'm guessing the CC won't like it at all. I bought that one used off gunbroker. The kicker is it shoots as good or better than it looks. Dad did the load work for me, I think he tried 4 or 5 powders and 4 or 5 bullets up to 75 to 100 grain, and it shot every one under an inch or better. I know on a Kimber thread that isn't great, not a large enough sample, not enough range, not enough something, but on a Winchester or Remington thread that's 1st rate, best production rifle going, can't get any better than that, thats why I only buy Remchester, etc, etc, etc.

This tasted a whole lot better than a fence post, too...
