Man and just how I was imagining it to look too. Had Bret make me this 4" (closed) shadow pattern with carbon fiber scales and a drop point blade made from CPM-154. Can't wait to get this one in my hands. This will be my first ever custom slipjoint !!!!!!!

That is where Bret stands out.
Just looking at that backside and you really have to look hard to find the separation between liners and back spring.

A real beauty right there. Hopefully we see more folders.

I really think that second folder is the "pick" of the litter.

Roy, that barbed wire micarta certainly looks good. What is the actual material...is it some sort of cloth...?

That's a good question and I honestly don't know the answer as to how they (Westinghouse) made that micarta look that way. It actually has a interwoven look to it meaning depth unlike any other micarta I've ever seen. I believe it was Westinghouse that made it, but I'm not positive. Hasn't been made for awhile either.

Just got my Bret Dowell " RF Hunter " in carbon fiber today and wanted to post up a pic for you all. Blade steel is CPM-154 and features a tapered tang and thin red liners. Man this thing is sharp !!!! Thanks again Bret !!!
