as an aside, i'm thinking of acquiring a heavy gold necklace with a cross on it also made out of Gold. a lot of folks on here are attracted to Gold. and I want everyone to know of my Beliefs when I walk in the street with a big Gold necklace and crucifix hanging around my neck. should the crufix be plain or fancy?

About 50 lbs I'd say.

I always find it interesting how people interpret different things. I have a fairly good understanding of the world, and everything in and it on it, from my own experiences. These experiences, including learning's and knowledge, have taught me that without a doubt, most religions in the world have several teachings in common. Why is that? How can that be? I am also smart enough to figure out that the Bible was written by men, not God. These men, like most, had an agenda. The same agenda of the men that wrote the rest of the religious scriptures in the world.
Having said this, does that mean I am going to go to Hell? Does this mean that I can't be saved? Who determines this? Other "Christians"? One of the recurring themes I spoke about, is "Treat others as you would wish to be treated". I don't see a lot of that going on here. Another is "Forgiveness". I don't see a lot that here either. Why is that?
Religion wise, I really could care less what anyone says, or does, as long as they don't try and shove it down my throat. What, who, or how I believe is my choice, and if I choose, I will spend my time with like minded people. I even spend time with people that have religious views that I don't share, but we still enjoy each others company. That's the shove down the throat part.
Bottom line, how can a man, judge another man, on an internet forum, in Gods name? And then quote versus, that another man wrote, to make it justified?
If everyone was going to get their feathers in a knot, then why read and participate in the thread?
For the record, I also think that Jesus was a baller. A real Sh&t disturber. I think he took after His Father. Also, He would have had an awesome man cave with some pretty cool stuff in it. And at least 10 pairs of Aviators, and a fairly well stocked bar and handmade wine collection.

Please show me where I have bashed any of your list. I can tell you up front I have no problems with Jews of Catholics. In reality the exact opposite is the truth. Now Muslims killing just for fun, raping and killing children and such does give me a problem as it should anyone. But there are peaceful Muslims, I have known and liked several.

Scott F, I guess this is the part I don't understand. If someone is telling you how bad you are, a thief, and so on, based solely on your beliefs, then why would you even listen? Why would even consider putting yourself in that situation, with those types of people? I wouldn't. I wouldn't expect it from others, either. Its an easy way to avoid getting irritated and upset.

From what I know, you seem like a decent, hard working fellow. The rest of whatever your beliefs are, doesn't really matter to me, nor should they matter to anyone else.

I guess my point is, to you and everyone else, would be something like this: If you don't want to see pornography, then don't walk into a pornographic theatre.
