I like the idea of a brand on the pouch I brand most all my leather goods. Saddles, tack, shaps, scabbards, boots, choppers and such.

You will not find the level of fit and finish on the Dozier knives like you will on Gene's. First rate !!

I'm sure it'll serve you well, and you'll likely put it to good use. You seem to get lots of trigger time on animals, so your opportunities to use it on game are plentiful. The brand looks nice on your leather too.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

I get that, about finish and all, but the way they cut and how long they go between touch ups trumps 'pretty'.....And 'most' have to 'go some' to beat, or even hang, with doziers stuff. So far, I've only seen 1 that beat Bob's stuff(in the 'use' department') ......

I like that knife! Looking forward to reading your field tests and hearing how the S30V steel and tempering stacks up to the Doziers.

Has anyone ever jigged Westinghouse micarta? I haven't seen WM jigged but believe it would really take away from that layer of oxidation that gives it that rich color.

Yeah, I can't imagine jigging Westinghouse. Would almost be sacrilegious. [grins]
