I'm reminded of the last person who tried to pull a fast one on me at hunting camp. He wound up tied face down to his bed with a bunghole full of O.C spray I think this "disciplinary barracks" thing is getting out of hand Wait, the Poobah stays at the Officers Quarters, does he not?

Might be fun to go out one morning and meet the driver at Wilderness carrying just a massive blade like that. Or a katana, tomahawk, claymore, spear, battleaxe, etc. Just to see the look on his face. If my Shiloh isn't done by then, I'm thinking... or (not the cats though, they would scare the Poobah)

You'll be missing out if you don't bring that M1 Carbine with you. A fifteen round mag of Federal Soft points is nothing to sneeze at. You can put on the super sneaky stalk and close the distance, I have faith in you.
The 351 is intriguing, though.

ya, the M1 (which I actually haven't shot yet ) could come along. Maybe the .300 Blackout too. Several folks enjoyed shooting it at Quemado. As far as being super sneaky, I think the pigs tend to be preoccupied with big dangerous looking dudes, or maybe lean hungry looking dudes, so they don't pay attention to short engineers...

I just made a trade for a pre war 1894 in 32 Special with tang peep sight. That one might be a fun one to bring and shoot a pig with. Perhaps as the light rifle to my Model 71 in 348WCF. If I make the trip (fairly likely) this will be my lever action trip and hunt.
Maybe I can sell Pugs another gun this year. Hey Pugs! You want a 1930's 32 Special with tang peep or a Model 71 Deluxe (also peep sighted) 348? We have to keep the tradition alive and well! I have a truckload of ammo for both....

I'm just proud to be nominated. LOL, me to CT. I think we all need to remember 'The Grape Ape', IIRC that cat is around 6'5" 375 lbs, definitely a 'svelte' contender. Gunner
