Nothing really heart stopping. Kind of a side project. The FrankenMauser is just about complete. A re-barreled Polish small M98 Mauser action chambered in 6.5x55 Swedish, B&C Medalist stock, 22" ER Shaw barrel, Timmeny trigger, spare Interarms Mark X trigger guard.

I grew up in the era of sporterizing WWII rifles and I still pick those over most modern day firearms, so I can be really attracted to Frankenmausers Nice job.

Great cat call - Yep, I picked it up at Cabelas a while back.. Today was the first time I've used it, I like it. It's got some crazy sound for sure! I'm looking forward to trying it on cats.

I guess this could have been a post once. I was out with my '98 in 7x57 this morning. This is my favorite rig!

That ought to work. The 2.5 x 8 Leupold is one of my favorite scopes. It don't "overpower" the rifle in more ways than one. Great background by the way. Best,
GWB

GWB Haven't heard any complaints thus far, but then again most don't have much to say. Shot this gal about 3 hours after rifle picture was taken

Sorry, but the closest fence post was about thrity miles away, and we thought a dead critter was closer to the true intent of a hunting rifle, since neither my S-I-L or I have ever shot a fence post, and certainly never tried to eat one. This is his model 70 Winchester in 30-06. It is a lefty. It carries a Nikon 3-9X40 scope. Ammo is 150 grain Hornady BTSP Interlocks with a charge of H414.

Nice do-all rifle...That doe is twice the size of our deer. I consider that to be a medium sized doe. Good eating, and a fair amount of meat.
