...say "shaka lahka bam" after you drop it? Dewd seriously I am going to have to do that! Youtube here we come. Would you say that after your partner says "send it," of after the deer drops & high-fives are exchanged? I want to be sure to do it right... Damn, I knew I've been doing it wrong all this time
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I lucked into a T3 Hunter a few months back in the campfire classifieds. It is chambered for 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser. I mounted an old Simmons Aetec in Talley lightweights and called it good.
Wife used it to take 4 deer on opening morning this year. She let me borrow it for the rest of the season, but I never saw anything to shoot while I was carrying it.
Overall, I like it a lot.

not offended just wanted to read some feedback from t3 hunter owners I have a T3 Hunter in 6.5x55. It is just as accurate as my synthetic stocked T3s. Kills critters just as good too. Thinking of finding a Hunter stock to put on my T3 Lite as the wood stock feels and looks better IMO.

I have a 6.5x55 on order at Eurooptics. Might cancel the order and order a stainless 300WSM and have it rebarreled in 6.5 SAUM.

How much does your Hunter weigh? The Tikka specs say 6 lbs 13 oz for the Hunter which seems rather light since the T3 Lite is listed at 6 lbs 3 oz.
They are definitely more expensive than the Lite but they offer some interesting LH chamberings not available elsewhere.

Jim, I have a Hunter in 6.5x55. I don't know what it actually weighs, however I've weighed the stocks of my T-3s on UPS scales and got the following:
Hunter wood stock; 28 oz. T3 lite stock; 28 oz. B&C Medalist stock; 34 oz.
I agree with a previous poster. I like the looks and feel of the hunter stock better than the lite.

I wouldn't trade my T3 SS synthetic 6.5 Swede for anything. That thing is scary accurate, and it kills jess fine!

The hunter stocks look great with SS. Have a T3 Lite 6.5x55 with an unusual checkering pattern for a T3 hunter stock and a Superlite (fluted) 223.

I'm with Tanner, that's a hell of a good idea!
