Every day above ground is a good day.

I may be to old to cut the mustard but I still like to lick the jar.

Turned 61 this month and now wonder how I got this OLD so fast.

I'm enjoying life more now, since RETIREMENT than any other time in my life, and wouldn't trade it to be younger.

Us old guys have it good in one way. A 30 year old can only enjoy a good looking woman of 35 or under. Now that I'm 65, I can see the beauty in women clear up to 70, if any. It greatly increases the viewing opportunities.

All of a sudden I am feeling younger again so I will stick to eyeing off younger sheila's.

73 here. I was doing pretty well until about the time I turned 70, now things are starting to go downhill. I am shrinking, used to be 5-10, now a hair under 5-5.

Still, I woke up alive this morning, I'm already a winner. grin

Are you saying I can't get an older woman to sleep with me? Because you'll lose that bet.

Woke up this morning at the new age of 61 after spending the Fri-Sun chasing deer in the Illinois gun season. I've never ached so much in my life. I'm having tag soup after all that effort and am seriously thinking that may be my last Illinois deer hunt. You work twice as hard for 1/2 the results. Won't bore you all with the play-by-play, just suffice it to say it's a S*%#@y Monday.

I'm not much for hunting shows but I do like the few episodes Jim Shockey did with his father and his friend. They're definitely a couple of characters.
Anyway,,, in one episode Jim's dad announces one morning that he'd taken some Viagra with breakfast. The other old coot asks "why the hell would you take Viagra at a hunting camp". His reply,,, "oh, don't worry, I just took a half of one to keep me from peeing on my new hunting boots".

I used to say that I was going to enjoy getting old because I would be able to get away with a lot more.........I got old and now there's not much I really want to get away with.

Word for word. What the hell happened? Inside I feel like is should still be about thirty five, the mirror say I look like eighty five.

Now here did Rick hide that submit button????

There is an upside, though. As one of our Masters at TKD likes to point out, "Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill."

Uh ... I used that line once ... my daughter looked me in the eye and asked how that'd stack up to youth and treachery. I saw something in there. We don't stand a chance.

Lots of hard work (never hurt anybody) my azz! My body hurts all over. Fighting with the dog about going grouse hunting today. Don't think I want to pay for it tomorrow. Oh yeah, I'm only 47! When did I turn into my dad?
