Sounds great, NYSavageFan. As soon as our Florida tomatoes are green, again, I will give your recipe a try. Here's one for you, and the rest of the gang:

<br> Pan-fried Green Tomatoes
<br>
<br> 2 medium green tomatoes, cut in 8 wedges each
<br> 1 medium sweet onion, diced into 1/2" pieces
<br> 4 Tablespoons butter
<br> 1/3 cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs
<br> 1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
<br> salt & pepper to taste

<br>Over medium heat, melt butter in 12" fry pan, add cut green tomato wedges and a fourth of the onion pieces. As the tomato browns, toss and add another fourth of the onion pieces. Toss two more times as it cooks, adding more onion each time. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Add more butter if needed to brown bread crumbs. When bread crumbs are golden and cheese has melted, serve and enjoy.
