way cold in the morning...was going to get up and hit the pecan orchard, but i called and roads are fairly lousy still there (ice storm) so think i'm gonna sit this one out a few days, sposed to have sunny skies and be above freezing by Tuesday, and i imagine after a week of ice & snow the squirrels will perk up then.

We had time for a short stroll before taking care of some non-hunting things. Trapper found a pile of den trees then found 5 in a row sitting out. Cooper let 1 get back to the hole because of a gun malfunction. I'll tear it apart today and give it a good cleaning. Thanks for letting us share.

We're in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.
Lots of gov't land and private wood lots.
Bad side- lots of roads and houses.

I was born and raised in Kentucky. We don't credit Indiana boys with #%*&! But I suppose in this case, I could make an exception. Batchieboy doesn't seem like a bad fellow at all, given his disadvantages....(insert emoticon for "all in good fun").
