I'll pass on ol' porky, if it's all the same to you fellers... Shrapnel, is that a Marlin 1893 or 1894? Looks very good from here, I know that. Don that's a whole different kind of smoker than I'm used to seeing...I'd say there might be sort of a funny wang to the meat..

I only have 3 Marlins, being a Winchester guy. I do have 2 1889 Marlins, one in 44-40 and another in 38-40 in a SRC. They really are nice guns, just not Winchesters...

It is a model 1894 in 38-40. I only have 3 Marlins, being a Winchester guy. I do have 2 1889 Marlins, one in 44-40 and another in 38-40 in a SRC. They really are nice guns, just not Winchesters... Very nice, I'm sure.. I love Winchesters too, but I have a soft spot for those old Marlins..
