Inconsiderate bag of hair. Point ol' Walker at him and tell him that there are pigs to be killed.

I am interested in this hunt and have a few questions about it.
Does the $695 fee allow for more than one hog or is there an option to pay for a second?

I've only shot one hog,a sow,but I've always heard that mature boars are not very good eating...is this correct?

Lastly,is there a place for doing your own skinning and butchering with use of a freezer? A place to plug in my meat grinder?

The timing of this hunt, for me,is great as it happens on my 58th birthday and it sounds like a good experience with great people.

Looking forward to your replys

Yes you can pay to shoot another hog,ram or whatever your pockets can afford. If you shoot a mature boar get it all ground in sausage and their processing fee is only like $100 so why wouldn't you want them to do it for you. The food you eat here is well worth the $695.

Here at home I can have a deer processed for $70-$80 but I do them myself,it's part of the hunt.
So,is there a place for a do-it-yourselfer to process game?

They have a very well equipped and on-site butcher shop but you would have to give then a call to see if you could use it. Might be an insurance thing to consider.

They do a good job of it and the sausage they make is good.

I'm pretty sure I am going to have an entire hog ground into sausage this year. The stuff is good.

You're pretty confident, Joel.

This is a very tough hunt and getting a pig is not as easy as some might think.

We had 34 hunters last year. Only 40 pigs were killed.

You do the math.

That kind of math gets democrats elected. 34 registered voters and the democrat gets 40 votes....

But this is far more important than politics. We're talking about sausage here.

I've been training twice daily for the arduous hike to the top of mt. Cochon. (Which by the way is a Brazilian word for heart disease.)

I've been spending hours upon hours in dry fire and live fire practice so that I'll be able to take advantage if I am blessed to have a fleeting glimpse of Porky.

Success is the fruit of dedicated preparation. Or luck, whichever.

Success is assured by my mere presence. So much so that next years hunt will be renamed to " The Silence of the Hams".

I'll bring down a 20 dollar scratch off if you'll sit beside me while I rub it down with a peso.

I like the idea of assured success.. smile

The only way that works is if you buy me a ticket too. I have the kind of luck that assures mine will NOT be the winner.it always goes to the other guy...
