I had Dallas (waknstak, here on the fire) build this for me a few months ago and it has taken me forever to get it posted up on here. I just wanna show off how good his work is and tell him thanks for helping me with this one. It was my first build and he was very helpful. I would tell him what I was thinking and he would show me pics of my options. If someone is looking for a great smith to build their rifle I would highly recommend contacting Dallas and talking with him. I do wanna say that it shoots as good as it looks but unfortunately I don't have any pics of targets. But I will get some up one of these days. Here's some pics and if anyone wants his info PM me and I would be happy to share it with you. I am getting ready to send him the parts for my 260 build now. Hopefully they will go out at the beginning of this week. I can't wait to see the next one!! Rem 700 LA trued and lapped Bartlein 8tw throated for 140 Bergers Defensive Edge brake Badger DBM Manners T-3 stock cerakoted to match metal by Dallas Jewel trigger Cerakoted tungsten by Dallas NF base and rings NF 5.5-22x50 HS/ZS with MOAR reticle
It is a sweet rifle and I love to shoot it. I haven't been able to get it out as much as I had hoped but I take it out when I can. I wanted something for LR steel banging and that is exactly what he made me.

Like the look of that titanium rifle on his site too. Seems very reasonably priced.

Dallas is great to work with!! My 260 will not be my last build with him. He treats guys right and has always gotten right back to me when I email him. Sometimes I have to wonder if he even sleeps. Lol. I just wanted to show his work incase anyone is looking for a great smith who can do dang near anything he wants in his shop.

Reno, it was a joy building this beautiful rifle for you. You gave me a want to do list for this build and i think we nailed it. Pics don't do this rifle justice it is absolutely stunning in person and an absolute dream to shoot. That two port brake on tis 6.5-284 makes it seem as if nothing happens when the rifle is touched off. It is definitely a fine rifle and i am glad your enjoying it. Oh and i do sleep............ A little!!!!!

I love the rifle and I can't wait to see the 260 you are building for me. You can put some pics up in this thread if you want. It's gonna be my one and done whitetail rifle. Lol. Yeah right!!! I'm already thinking about another.

Sharp rig, Reno. How do you like that stock and the heavy grip or stippling? Palm swell?
