I had to look it up - the Model 14 is the "Attack" w. 7.5" blade. #15 is the Airman, and is a little smaller.

Model 14's were popular in Vietnam, as was the Model 1 & Model 2. A Vietnam era 14 is usually worth $1000+ and up.

There is also the "Model 12 with 14 grind", which is a 9" knife, with the same style grind to the blade. You almost never find them in tool steel though, which is a shame. They use Swedish O-1 tool steel, and they hold an edge well. I like knives with simple, clean lines, and the Randalls work for me.

I ordered a Model 25 Randall in June 2011. It's supposed to be ready in April 2016

As you know, my particular skillset pays five times as much in the private world as it does the public. I have to do these deals when they call.

I've never understood why my old outfit specifically made contract and off duty deals verboten, but they did, and it made walking away from them that much easier.

Not having Pat there is a lot like a kick in the balls.

You may not like it at first,, but on the other hand, it really hurts.

I think Pat had more to do with the success of the hog hunt than anyone except perhaps Bob, who got it all started.
