doesn't take much knowledge to read and comprehend

I'm having a difficult time eating my lunch right now here in the office, and people are staring at me wondering WTF I could possibly be laughing so hard about ...

they wouldn't believe me, or even begin to understand if I tried to explain this one to them ...

so this one made the archives, huh?

Perhaps you could print an extry copy out and send it to Doc, to use with his popsicle sticks in case (on the way off chance) this thing doesn't end up right, and Chuck decides to order an MPI ...

Chuck:

Plan B it is.

Okay, we're starting from scratch. You have a CDI EDGE coming. You can have anything you want. If you want to make any spec changes from the first order, it's no sweat. Stock pattern, bottom metal inlet, color ... whatever.

So, please provide the following details at your convenience, and I will send the order to McM immediately:

EDGE Pattern (McM will make any of their hunting patterns with EDGE):

Right- or Left-handed stock?:

Rifle Manuf. and Model:

Rifle Caliber (action length):

Right- or Left-handed action?:

Bottom metal:

Barrel channel:

Recoil Pad type and size:

Finished length of pull:

Finished color:

Select Sling Studs: SS or Blue?

Notes:

Rick

FWIW, how about this:

Since the specs are clear and public, what about having Rick post up pics of the new stock, and with a tape on it for measurements where appropriate, when it's done and ready to go? Add into that verification (but please, no tracking number publicly) as to when and how shipped.

On Chuck's end, acknowledgement here of receipt of the check and of the stock as pictured, and pics of the new stock with the action, etc. on-board, as well as the same info up on the shipping back of the first stock.

The pre-shipment pics should give ample time for comment (hopefully just from Chuck... though I doubt that'll be possible), and provide evidence should something happen in shipping of the state of the stock as it left Rick's possession.

The post-shipment pictures can verify receipt and acceptance on Chuck's end.

Fair enough?

That offer has been standing for a while.... seems not to be many/any takers?

It ought to be left for a good while 'til the new stock is ready to go, and as the dirty laundry got aired this much in the first place, the resolution ought to at least make as much of a public appearance.

That way, anyone interested has their fill and their questions put to bed.
