Houston Pat, I need to ask a question?
Are you going for sure to Tenn?
If so, will you buy an extra large bottle of becky creek and give to Joel for him to hide and take home.
I'll send a check to cover whatever you pay for the 1.75 l
bottle.

yes, I am going, and your money is no good in Houston, so I'll take care of it smile I was gonna make another stop at Spec's anyway.

I'm hung up in a meeting on the 4th, and won't be able to leave until evening, so I'll probably roll into Wilderness sometime in the evening of the 5th.

Joel is doing me a favor.

Just ordered pistol yesterday from IL at my dealer already and I'm on my way to have it added to my permit and then back to dealer to pick it up
24 hours from purchase to my hand is amazing!

Pat, I found the 1.75 l, with a handle, at Costco. Some or all have a liq store built on to the main wearhouse.
I think it was 39.00 bucks.

I'll not rush time anymore but I do look forward to seeing 24hr folk...and turkey season! ...but there's yote's and crappie to chase in Feb...and bores that have suffered cold and presses that have set unused since deer season started. Plenty of life to live between now and then! grin

If it's this cold in Tenn this early March, I'm hunting from the kitchen window.

A great advantage of hunting from the kitchen window is that it is close to the refrigerator that holds beer and left over barbequed hog. And you can wear a T-shirt and your shorts.

Just sayin'!

It's a large double window right next to the coffee pot. We can grab a couple chairs and pull a double before we finish our first cup of joe.

Maybe even before the first pot is finished brewing.

I could be wrong about this, but I do believe that the guy with the yorkies is the same guy who suggested hunting from the kitchen.

So, there may be a correlation.

And it does sound like he is getting ready to take a stand in the kitchen.

The Hog Hunt has always been full of surprises, even scary ones.
