Rem Classic,inletted for short 700 and Wby fill is prolly closer to the light end of the spectrum,but certainly not the lightest route.
I generally get a 31oz handle,when specifying a light filled gelcoated handle,but there's some tricks there.
Wasn't sure if I was gonna flute the tube on this project or not,so bumped fill weight a smidge.................

just got a McSwirley in the mountain rifle pattern, Rem 600, ADL and 1" Decel Pad was right at 33oz if that info helps.

The funny thing about chit weasels that just like to cause grief to a guy trying to make a decent living is that they overlook the fact that there are a lot of guys out there who after seeing this will now put Rick at the top of the order from list. Pretty difficult to get better customer service than what Rick has offered. Yea, I guess CAS, BXRoads, Chuck N., myself and others are "chitweasels" for airing a grief on here. This used to to be a great forum. Unfortunately ticks like Stetson have become all too common, my take is he received one too many dirt snacks in his youth....... MtnHtr

Chuck Good call Chuck. Not to be a dick, but you did fire the first shot and opted to go public with this in the first place. Never a good move in my opinon, but in the end of the day you got your stock sorted out, but at what cost????? I think it is best to keep dirty laundry in the hamper where it belongs, piss stained sheets hanging from the balcony is never a pretty sight. As can be evidenced by the fact that we are at 16 pages and counting...............................

The 1" Decelerator's rounded radius is a benefit in rapid aquisition,for me.
It's not a Recoil Thing,it's a Quickaloo Thing.
The "223" designator keeps the fill light....................
