Is this what you are referring to?
Well, guess I've heard of it happening, but wouldn't a believed it. I'm sittin' here holding the bolt handle of my recently acquired 700 Stainless in my hand sans bolt. Opened the bolt and it came off in my hand.
Was earlier thinkin' about callin' Rick Bin to check on the status of a Mickey stock, so it musta been his fault. Unfortunately, I called the local remington authorized dealer and they said to bring it right in and they'd repair it under warranty.
Am now wondering if this thread will reach 700+ posts?
Do you guys think remington is out to get me?

Let me get this straight... A known quantity, Rick, is named as the source of the problem in Mtnmn1's post and I respond as I did that Rick, with a proven record of making things right with EVERYBODY, would certainly make it right with him and I am somehow "personally attacking you?"
What if I had said send it to Doug? He fixes problems he does not cause regularly, would that have been a personal attack against you?
